Best Round of Golf – Ever!
Hi Everyone
What’s your best round of golf? Mine was a couple of years ago at a local course, which is not that long which I suppose suits my game better (and for you wise cracks out there no it wasn’t crazy golf!!).
Anyway, I’d played at a corporate do a few days before, which because I was organising, got there the night before ended up playing 18 that evening, then 9 the next morning as part of the golf day and then 18 in the afternoon. So, that combined with running the thing knackered me out and by the end any swing I did have was failing me badly!
But that weekend I had my brother in law over from the states and a mate up from London and with a few days rest I was raring to go.
The intense practice I’d had earlier in the week really played dividends, you know, when you get those days where you hit the ball so sweetly you hardly feel it against the club – that’s what it was like, just fantastic!
Scored 78 gross which I was really pleased with, SSI for the course was 69 so to break 10 was great, never happened since mind!

Golf also provides an opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of the daily grind. It gives you time to reflect on what is really important. It allows you to shed all of the stress that you may get in your workplace or in other stressful environments. Some of the stress could be from work or can even be some problems that you’re facing that home.Being outside and enjoying the game of golf is an ideal way to relax.
