Golf – Are Players Stupid?
Golf – What makes Golf so unique? Of all the sports undertaken around the world, the games of Golf and the Golf player have to be 1 in a million. Before I go onto explain why Golf players differ so much, you need to understand the main explanations why the masses give up on their chosen sport.
Do you know the 3 main reasons the reason why many people call it a day?
Grow older – Above all age unavoidably becomes a huge deciding factor why so many have to quit their chosen game, unfortunately time waits for no man, Nature takes no prisoners.
Time -The next time, in this hectic era with work, family and friend responsibilities it just becomes too hard to manage, the time component additionally comes as the bi-item of age, sometimes handily assisting us to convince ourselves it wasn’t the decision to quit, it has been taken out of the hands, when in fact and if you’re being completely honest with yourself it’s no longer important.
Skill – Last but not least skill, let’s face it, all of us humans aren’t silly? Are we? All of us tend to avoid what where not good at and activity is no different! Why pursue an activity any longer than you have to if you are completely useless at it?
So what can make Golfers so various? Are we Silly? Well, this is when all of the rules are thrown out of the eye-port and where Golfers come into their own. I’ve played Golfing for many years right now and it’s the only real game which disregards all of the previously mentioned. I’ve seen people in their 1980′s hardly able to stroll still chasing an ideal round, buggy assisted mind, but in no way the less still at it. It requires approx four hours to play 18 holes, God willing, combine this with the travel and a fast look at the 19th before the wife finds out, after that that’s a day out! Finally, skill, this is where the true art we golfers posses really come into play, the ability to perform or should I state hack our method around the course, year in, year out without any substantial improvement, sometimes even getting worse? Braving the elements being out in all weathers! To add to the mix, we literally invest thousands of dollars on accessories, clothing as well as Green fees. Golfers most certainly go against the grain, breaking all the guidelines, so does that make us stupid? Nicely, I’ll leave that to you to decide on your own. Thanks for visiting the game of Golf!
